This was my favorite photo of Lizzy from Tuesday, which was such a good day for her. Overnight, she was placed on a different mode for her ventilator, which delivers oxygen with less pressure to her little lungs. She did well with the change, and needed less oxygen during the day, which is a great outcome. Her bilirubin levels have been down, so her UV light was off today and without her face mask covering her, we could see her beautiful face. She also seems like she really wants to open her eyes, something that we're anxiously awaiting.
She loves to sleep with her hands touching her face or neck. This photo melts my heart. I think it's safe to say that we're completely smitten with her already.

Aww, Lizzy is so cute lying there. Her little face is adorable. I am so happy to hear she had a good Tuesday. I pray that she continues to do well. Hugs to you Meghann. You seem to be staying so strong throughout this really hard time. xx
I happened to stop by your blog today and I saw that your sweet Lizzy was born early. I wanted to offer you support and let you know that my Jordan was born at 25 weeks too. From one preemie Mom to another, I will be praying for you and your sweet, sweet girl.
Lizzy, YOU GO GIRL!!!
Love the picture. I love the little Heart (monitor?). It speaks volumes - "My heart is full of love and golden light!"
Hope you are remembering to take care of yourself as well Meghann.
Aw, look at her little button nose! The photo melts my heart too. x
She's beautiful Meghann! Melting here too - what a sweet photo.
She is so beautiful!!
What a beauty. I simply love the gold heart-shaped instrument. It adds a little sparkle, and girliness!
